Realme 10 is one of those phones that is hard to forget. This kind of package is not seen very often in production. Realme definitely made a choice they won’t regret. Despite having a plastic body, the phone shines with light particle design. We were surprised to see that a plastic phone can provide such a subtle and premium kind of glitter. It surely gets a very high mark for design. We got a white and a blue color. Honestly, it’s difficult to pick one of them since both look very gorgeous. The camera house doesn’t look excessive on the back, which is something that we like. There is a left punch-hole in the front and a Gorilla Glass 5 protection, which is brilliant. But we are missing an IP rated splash resistance here. This is a very clear downside of this gadget. It weighs only 178 grams and is just 8 millimeters slim.
An absolute trump card is its 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits pick brightness. This incredible display will win any user who enjoys long-time content watching, gaming or internet browsing. The 50 MP Samsung JN1 sensor primary camera should be of anyone’s liking to this budget. We have seen hands-on image samples, and it has that typical natural Realme vibe to it. The 16 MP selfie cam is similar but slightly disappointing with a face smoothening tendency. Many users may like it, but we prefer the more natural tone with a better clarity/details. There is up to Full HD (1080p) recording with both cameras and the result looks decent. The rear camera also supports 60fps. We do miss stable footage, though. So, the camera section has some pros and cons.
A 33W charger is shipped in the box and the charging time for the 5000 mAh battery is around 65 minutes. You can easily expect more than a day’s backup for standard usage and about 6 hours of screen-on-time. Now comes the great news. Yes, we have a 6 nm MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and that is great for the cost. Although we do not recommend the 4 GB RAM model. You should have at least 6 GB RAM for smooth gaming. There is an additional 4 GB virtual RAM option which will deliver a bit of improved result, but you’ll still feel some lag while playing a popular game like PUBG. The 8 GB RAM model has an 8 GB virtual RAM option. But for this one, the built-in RAM is sufficient. The smartphone offers powerful Hi-Res audio, a fast UFS 2.2 storage and a dedicated MicroSD slot. Android 13 is already available in this device for installing based on Realme UI 4.0.
